Location: Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, England.
The peaceful, small town of Winchcombe has a wonderful historical heritage. In Anglo-Saxon times, during the reign of King Coenwulf in the 8th and 9th Centuries it was the chief city of Mercia and briefly the county town of Winchcombeshire. In the immediate vicinity of the town can be found Sudeley Castle and the remains of Hailes Abbey, which was one of the main centres of pilgrimages in Britain due to a phial possessed by the monks said to contain the Blood of Christ. There is nothing left of the now-vanished Winchcombe Abbey. St Peter's Church in the centre of the town is noted for its grotesques.
The car? Haven't a clue! Possibly dates around 1932-1936. The front grill resembles that of an old Bugatti but I'm fairly certain it's not one of those! Answers on a postcard, please.
(It's a Hotchkiss, see below comment. French manufacturer's Hotchkiss et Cie made cars between 1903 and 1955 in Saint-Denis, Paris.)

The Lord Leycester Hospital, as it is officially known, is a retirement home for ex-Servicemen in Warwick, England, and is not one building, but a collection of buildings just inside the medieval Westgate to the town of Warwick. The Hospital comprises the medieval Chapel of St James the Great, living quarters (including the Master's House), a Guildhall (with anterooms) and a Great Hall.
In the late 14th century Thomas Beauchamp, 12th Earl of Warwick rebuilt the chantry chapel over the gatehouse, replacing the earlier chapel of 1126.
In 1571 Robert Dudley, favourite of Queen Elizabeth, purchased the property and, under royal charter, created a home for 12 aged or infirm soldiers and their wives, thus creating the hospital.
Famously, a banquet held for King James I at the Great Hall in 1607 put the town of Warwick into debt for ten years. Now, that's a party!
