Such an honor and a privilege to be part of this amazing, talented and inspiring group of artists. Our first shows opens up on Saturday, July 21st, in Joliet. I previewed it last night and it is worth the trip.

The show is at the University of St. Francis Art Gallery at 25 East Van Buren in Joliet. Artist Reception is Saturday, July 21st from 6-8 pm. The typical gallery hours are 10-2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The show runs through August 17th.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the show myself, but have seen it installed and it is a great show. Have a wonderful time!

I'm a member of an art group called artitude. We have a photographer (me), a ceramist, two painters, a multimedia artist and a gum bichromist. We each have six pieces in the show and have been touring around Chicago for the past couple of years. This is from our most recent show at Water Street Studios in Batavia. The two pieces on the left are mine.
