A microburst crashed through Lockport on 6.29.2012.

This was taken along the I&M Canal, where many mature trees have been lost.

To my knowledge there were no human injuries, just many without power for an extended period of time. Our tree friends, however, were not nearly as fortunate.

More on microbursts later, but for now there is still clean up to do :)

Finally done archiving. I had never seen a snapping turtle before and on my bike ride saw this one walking across the bike path. It look prehistoric. By the time I pulled out my camera, she had switched into defensive position.........
