The Taftsville Covered Bridge is a timber-framed covered bridge spanning the Ottauquechee River in the Taftsville village of Woodstock, Vermont. Built in 1836, it is among the oldest remaining covered bridges in Vermont.

Peacham is a village in rural Caldonia County, Vermont. The 2020 census listed the population at 715 persons. In the second half of the 20th century, Peacham became a popular vacation spot and retirement home for prominent intellectuals and liberal thinkers—individuals such as David Dellinger, William Lederer, Roman Jakobson, and the historian Shepard Clough. The Peacham Congregational Church, founded in 1794 dominates the skyline.
