In honor of my mother's 91st Birthday, the Locke Clan will gather at Nancy & Meredith's digs in Santa Monica to celebrate and reminisce with her. I'll be doing my best to download and have available as many photos as I can pull together at the last minute as we are planning on videotaping her while she talks about her life.

Architect A. McDowell Lewis designed the Traditional style house for Mr. and Mrs. Jack Keces, a great uncle of Los Feliz historian Donald Seligman in 1947. The house has some of the most over-the-top Christmas decorations in the neighborhood. Driving by on busy Los Feliz Boulevard on a Saturday evening, traffic slows to a crawl as folks try to take in the extravagance, and the competing Off House directly across the street.
