Architect Miller Yee Fong designed the house for himself and his family in 1967. The 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in 2321 sf is currently (July 2022) listed for sale for $1,295,000 and described in part as "The poetry of light. The entry below street level is shielded by a mature eucalyptus and is so private that one might not consider how open and airy this structure is. Once inside half a level up leads into the master suite, which looks down upon the striking two story living space below. There you are bathed in light from the south facing atrium below the street, as well as the wall of windows that open up to treetop and mountain views beyond. The architect, a graduate of the USC School of Architecture is best known as creator of the 'Lotus Chair', currently at the permanent collection at LACMA, this Garvanza beauty was his personal residence until 1977.

Located at 6303 Eunice Avenue in the historic Garvanza District of Highland Park, Los Angeles, California. Please do not use this image in any media without my permission. © All rights reserved
