Historic home of citrus farmer and head of one of Glendora's pioneer families John Bender In the old days Bender walked to Los Angeles for provisions and hitch-hiked back to Glendora on hay wagons. He lived in the house with his wife Harriet and their three children, Elbert, Aileen and Flora. The house was designated a Glendora Historic Landmark (No 11) in 1996.
