Architect Maurice Fleishman designed the French Eclectic style house for insurance executive Frank Nathan and Elinor Harriot Nathan in 1949. Elinor Harriot was "Ruby" in the Amos and Andy radio comedy team. She was also Amos' little girl, the wife of the Kingfish and in fact, the feminine factor in all the Amos and Andy skits. Marmol Radziner + Associates remodeled the house in 2003 with designer Brad Dunning designing the interiors. The house is located at 509 Sierra Drive in Beverly Hills, California.
