Prix and the Austrian firm Coop Himmelb(l)au, Central High School #9 has given downtown Los Angeles an unorthodox new symbol and striking piece of architecture complimenting the downtown skyline..Three curving structures- a cone-shaped library, a soaring lobby and a 140-foot tower- are its most interesting architectural elements.
