HDR Architecture HMC Architects designed the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Mental Health Urgent Care Center in 2014 as part of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital Complex. The center provides 24/7 psychiatric care where the needs of the client are assess and crisis intervention services provided. Located at 1680 E. 120th Street in the South Central neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. .

HMC Architects designed the Modernist style Los Angeles Harbor College Student Union completed in 2018. The facility provides a social hub, designed specifically to encourage commuter students to spend more time on campus. The facility provides a bookstore on the first floor with culinary arts classrooms and spaces for student government on the second floor.

Central High School #9 has given downtown Los Angeles an unorthodox new symbol and striking piece of architecture complimenting the downtown skyline..Three curving structures- a cone-shaped library, a soaring lobby and a 140-foot tower- are its most interesting architectural elements.
