Architect Donald G. Park designed the Modernist style house for Edwin and Doris Gamson in 1957. After graduating from the Citadel Military School in South Carolina, Gamson moved to California to attend U.C.L.A. at age 17. With the advent of WWII, he enlisted in the navy where he built and repaired ship radios.

Architect Donald G. Park designed the Modernist style house in 1965 for Frank and Agnes nee Montrose Polokoff in 1965.Frank Prokoff was born on April 3, 1910. He marrie Agnes Montrose in 1937. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II as a Pharmacist First Class. He died on May 10, 1991 in Palm Springs and was buried at Riverside National Cemetery.
