I always try to have my camera with me when traveling around Los Angeles; you never know when you are going to see something extraordinary. Such was the case today, on my way to show a house in Koreatown, I passed this magnificent Beaux Arts villa, perched on a hill above the street at 236 South Vendome Street. I am sure it has an interesting history but for now I can't tell you much more. Apparently at some point in its history it was converted into an 8 unit apartment building; with its 14 bedrooms and 8 baths it must have been quite grand at the time it was originally built.
