Architect Pierre Koenig designed the Modernist style house for Josef F. and Roxanna Freese Korzeniowski in 1971. The diminutive (4'8") Korzeniowski, an immigrant from Galicia, Spain arrived at Ellis Island on June 22, 1911, at the age of 17 with just $45.00 in his pocket. He married Roxanna Freese in Los Angeles on April 2, 1966. The Korzeniowskis sold the house to Warren J. Winick in 1978 who engaged architect Warren Wagner to design an addition to the house in 1998. The 3-bedroom, 4-bath home in 2907 sq. ft. is currently (May 2022) listed for sale for $3.1M. Located at 6520 Vista del Mar in Playa del Rey, California.
