Architect Dan Uhl designed the Mediterranean Revival Style house for Frank and Victoria Sproul in 1930. Frank Sproul was born in California on November 1, 1876 He was an attorney at law. He lived in the house with his wife Victoria and their son, Frank Jr. He died in Los Angeles on December 16, 1948 and is buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, California.
