Unpretentious and simple Carpenter's Gothic style church originally built in 1884. It is the oldest church in San Pedro. The church has been relocated three times and now has found it's "final resting place" in Green Hills Memorial Park at 27501 S Western Avenue in nearby Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

Architects Clarence Stein, Reginald Johnson, Donald B. Parkinson, Eugene Weston Jr., Lewis E. Wilson, and A.C. Zimmerman designed the Harbor Hills project in 1941. The 300 hundred housing units were designed in a garden setting by landscape architects Katherine Bashford and Fred Barlow Jr. The project was sponsored by the City of Los Angeles along with several other public housing projects to address the housing shortage in the World War II era.
