As a high school school teacher, I normally had a couple of months off for summer vacation. After the school year ended in 1972, I took a month to vacation in Greece and attend the International Olympic Academy held in Olympia, Greece. My host in Athens was Mr. Bill Taylor, former executive with S.A.S. Airlines, who I met while a student at George Washington University, who had invited me to be his house guest in the city where he had retired a few years earlier.
The Taylor Residence in Athens was a fabulous villa overlooking the Acropolis. Here's a photo of Bill sitting out by the pool.
