On a Sunday afternoon drive through the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, my eye was drawn towards this stunning architectural beauty. On further investigation I learned that the house was originally built in 1952. The three bedroom, six bath home in 8627 sq.ft. most recently (October 2013) sold for $7,625,000 and was described in the listing as "Stunning Architectural on incredibly lush grounds. The entire second floor was added by Michael Palladino of Richard Meier & Partners Architects. The home speaks for itself as it is truly an architectural statement combined with a most unique over 1 acre lot that is totally private and lushly landscaped. Master is entire second floor with fireplace, huge closet and second living room. The pool fits the style of the house as well as the environment it rests in. Coral trees and eucalyptus trees abound. Stone pathways lead you to a secluded and seductive outdoor area of level land ideal for entertaining large numbers of guests. There are only 3 bedrooms in the house so it is ideal for the art collecting couple that has style".

Property records show that architect Matthew Alan Flynn in 2014 remodeled the interior, adding a new rectractable roof over the existing two story dwelling as well as a detached recreation room and cabana structure. Located at 770 North Bonhill Road in the Brentwood Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
