The Rembrandt House Museum is a historic house where the painter Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn lived and worked between 1639 and 1656. Rembrandt purchased the house in 1639 and lived there until he went bankrupt in 1656, when all his belongings went on auction.

Dutch architect and painter Adrianus Bleijs designed the Basilica of Saint Nicholas in a combination Neo-Baroque-Renaissance Revival style. It is the main Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Formerly called St. Nicholas Inside the Walls, it was elevated to a basilica minor in 2012.

Volendam is a Dutch town on the Markermeer Lake, northeast of Amsterdam. It’s known for its colorful wooden houses and the old fishing boats in its harbor, which is lined with seafood vendors.
