Architect Allen Ruoff designed the Colonial Revival style house for building contractor Frank Testa in 1940. Frank Testa was born in New York on October 7, 1903. He lived in the house with his parents Salvatore and Lawara and his two siblings, Fillmore and Edward. He died in Los Angeles on November 12, 2000. The house is located at 1980 Alexandria Avenue in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Architect Allen Ruoff designed the Spanish Revival style residence for German immigrant Curtis A. Herberts and his family in 1928. According to the 1930 census, Herberts was proprietor of a machine tool company.

Architect Charles Kluger purchased the house for his personal residence in 2001, restoring its original character while adding modern amenities. Located at 3455 Griffith Park Blvd. in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Late Colonial style residence designed for real estate broker Emil Ziehl by Architect Allen Ruoff in 1935. Emil Ziehl was born in Kansas on August 21, 1860. He lived in the house with his wife Dorothy. He died in Los Angeles on October 2, 1952 and was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
