Pharmacist Ben Brodsky engaged the services of Architect Albert Brocher to design the English Tudor style compound in 1932. Brodsky was born in Odessa, Russia in 1877 and immigrated to the United States with his wife Ann Brodsky nee Yenta Sobelow, becoming naturalized citizens in 1931. The property consists of two, three bedroom flats and a two-bedroom carriage house located in the rear which were occupied by members of his extended family. He died on February 15, 1960

Originally designed for Charles E. Insley by Architect Edith Nortman in 1940; currently the residence of Oscar E. Leidenfrost of Leidenfrost/Horowitz & Associates of Burbank. The house was recently remodeled by next-door neighbor designer John Pugliese.

Architect David F. Picken designed the Colonial Revival style residence for George A. Potzner (1902-1965), a greeting card salesman and his wife Ruth in 1936. The couple lived in the house with their two children, Ruth and George Jr.
