On our way to visit the Ray Kappe-designed Meyer House in Sherman Oaks, we had a few spare minutes to stop by Lake Balboa Park, also known as the Anthony C. Beilenson Park, an 8--acre recreation facility in the Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area. The centerpiece of the park is the 27-acre Lake Balboa, filled with water from the Tillman Water Reclamation Plant.
