Architect Joon Kim designed the futuristic pet hospital, located at the triangular intersection where Beverly Boulevard, South Virgil Avenue and West First Street come together. The wedge-shaped hospital conforms to the pie-shaped lot. An undulating concrete frame supports a perforated aluminum skin highlighted by LED signs flashing messages to the passing parade.
