Architects Arthur Kelly & Joe Estep designed the Italianate style house for James S. (John) Lawshe in 1919. Lashe lived in the house with his wife Gladys and their two sons, John Jr. and Henry. The six bedroom, 3.5 bath Italian Renaissance style house in 3,727 sq.ft. most recently (August 2012) sold for $2.3M. Located at 415 S. Irving Blvd. in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Architects Arthur R. Kelly and Joseph Estep designed the house in an eclectic style for V.M. Samuels in 1939. The residence is located at 2300 Nottingham Avenue in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. Note: the Los Feliz Improvement Association Survey of 2000 describes the house as being "Georgian" in style; personally, I don't see the connection. Any thoughts from my fellow architecture buffs?
