Donna and I had the pleasure of attending the 2007 Julius Shulman Award for Excellence in Communication Ceremony at Woodbury University honoring Lily Tomlin for her work as a Comedian, Actress, and Producer. The award was given annually between 2000 and 2011.

I had the pleasure of staying at the home of Rennie & Michelle Maxcy during a return to Ellicott City, Maryland for the 25th Anniversary of the 1970 Mt. Hebron High School Varsity Football team's Howard County Championship. The Maxcy's, who were sweethearts throughout their high school years, invited me to stay with them at their horse ranch in suburban Westminster where for a week I was part of the family.

My wife Donna Jean has always been a big basketball fan, particularly of the Los Angeles Clippers. She was also a fan of Karl Malone who she met in person at the Staples Center during the time he was playing for the Utah Jazz. Here Donna is in the Jazz locker room at Stapes with her "hero", who later sent her a pair of autographed shoes and a basketball jersey, which we have hanging in our home.
