The Watson Family Photographers bids farewell to Eugene W. Biscailuz upon his retirement in 1958. Biscailuz was a popular and long serving Los Angeles County Sheriff, appointed in 1932 and elected to serve between 1934 and 1958. His colorful career also included organizing the California Highway Patrol which he also served as Superintendent. According to Antoinette Watson, Delmar Watson’s widow, the sheriff “loved the camera”.
