Architect Paul R. Williams designed the Classical Revival style temple as a memorial to the memory of singer, actor and comedian Al Jolson in 1951. Dubbed "The World's Greatest Entertainer" at the zenith of his career, he was America's highest paid entertainer in the 1920s. Located at 6001 West Centinela Avenue in Culver City, California. Architect Paul R. Williams designed the English Tudor Revival style house for Oscar and Isabel Wasmer in 1927. Wasmer was born in Concordia Kansas on October 24, 1875. He served as secretary-treasurer of the Concordia Milling Company between 1906 and 1920. In the 1930s he moved to Los Angeles where he became involved in real estate. He died in Los Angeles on May 3, 1934 and was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, California.

Architect Paul R. Williams designed the English Revival style house for Abraham and Bejla (Bertha) Litrov in 1952. Abraham Litrov was born in Lisianka, Ukraine on January 8, 1897. He married his wife Bejla in her hometown of Zenigorodka, Kazakhstan on August 5, 1920. The couple immigrated to the United States via Warsaw, Poland arriving on February 2, 1923 on the vessel Estonia. In Los Angeles, Abraham had a successful produce business. The couple lived in the house with their two daughters Ruth and Ann. He died in Woodland Hills June 6, 1973.

The 4-bedroom, 8-bath home in 8213 sq. ft. is currently (September 2018) listed for sale for $22M and described in the listing as "Behind private gates, rests a secluded Beverly Hills retreat by architect Paul Williams. Soaring, circular foyer and grand formal living room with 12 foot ceilings, seating area, fireplace and walls of glass displaying views of park-like grounds.

Architect Paul R. Williams designed the house for Samuel Zagon in 1939. Also known as "Eleven Palms", the house was sold to Marlon Brando in the early 1960s His housemate was Wally Cox. The house contains a secret room behind a bookcase. Brando and Cox moved out in 1968. The property became LA Yoga IYI, a private yoga center and ashram popular with celebrities like Carole King, James Taylor and Stacy Keach. The house was sold in the early 1970s to David Carradine and Barbara Hershey. Located at 3222 Benda Place in Los Angeles, California.
