The Spanish Colonial style church was designed by J. Earl Trudeau and named in honor of St. Charles Borromeo, a 16th century cardinal of Milan, praised for his diplomatic skills and for his compassion for the people of Milan, who were beset by famine and plague during his administration. The facade is highlighted by the Borromean Window, illustrating the life of the church's patron saint. Comedian Bob Hope and his wife Dolores were active members of the parish and donated one of the chapels during its construction. Located at 10800 Moorpark St. in North Hollywood, California.
