I didn't completely grasp the significance of the church's architecture until I happened to view it quite by accident driving along Union Avenue, and catching a glimpse of it out of the corner of my eye. Viewed from the side street, along Madison Avenue, the church's soaring half-arch and stained glass window took my breath away. The post modern church represents the architect's most daring expression; he also designed the postmodern St. Rita's Church in Sierra Madre in 1969. Located at 585 E. Colorado Boulevard.
