Architect Kemper Nomland designed the two-story apartment house in a Modernist style in 1949. There are two, matching face-to-face buildings located at 1041-1043 and 1045-1049 South Ogden Drive in the Little Ethiopia neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The property is located in the Wilshire Vista West Historic District which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.
