Architect Milton R. Sutton designed the Spanish Colonial Revival style house for pioneer theatrical producer Louis C. Wiswell and his wife Zelda Sears in 1930. Zelda Sears née Paldi (1873-1935) was an actress, screenwriter, novelist and businesswoman. She married her long-time friend Louis C. Wiswell in 1918. He committed suicide on January 30, 1942, despondent over ill health. The house is located at 2739 Forrester Drive in the Cheviot Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
