Architect Kurt Meyer-Radon designed the Colonial Revival style house for A. Pelham Carter in 1941. Working as a realtor, Mr. Carter was charged with obtaining money under false pretensions by swindling a woman out of her life savings. Later it seems he redeemed himself and had a successful career in the years prior to the Great Depression. Located at 5020 West Ambrose Avenue in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument (No. 1178) in 2019.
