Architects Killingworth, Brady and Smith designed the Modernist style Case Study House #23C in 1960. One of three adjacent single-family residences that form the Triad grouping, part of Arts & Architecture magazine’s Case Study House program. Intended to be the pilot project for a large tract of houses but only the Triad was ever built. The only Case Study project in San Diego. Nominated in 2013 for National Historic Designation.
