Architect John Lautner designed the Expressionistic style house for Robert E. and Marjorie T. Rawlins in 1980. Known locally as the "Jaws House" as the result of the balcony reminding some of the open mouth of a great white shark. The house is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as the Rawlins-LaFetra House. Located at 804 South Bay Front, Balboa Island, Newport Beach, California.
