Architects A. Quincy Jones Jr. and Frederick Emmons designed the Modernist style house as part of the Fairhills subdivision, one of three neighborhoods developed by Joseph L. Eichler (1900-1974) in the City of Orange, California (designated the Eichler Historic District). Houses in the development reflect the growing prosperity and increased size of typical Baby Boomer families of the 1960s.
