Architect Raymond Kappe, Herbert Kahn and Rex Lotery drew up plans for the Modernist style house in early 1976 for Mr. and Mrs. Barry Collen. The house languished unfinished for several years until it was sold to Stephen and Shirley Cookston who completed the project. Houshang Borghei owned the house between the other two owners.

The 3-bedroom, 4-bath home in 3574 sq. ft. is currently (February 2020) listed for sale for $5.5M and described as Stunning tall multi-story concrete, steel and glass hard-edge contemporary home with walls of windows and glass capturing the closeness of mature trees and sky creating from every room the feeling of living with nature: Ray Kappe's tour-de-force. The master bedroom with fireplace has a soaring glass domed ceiling which heightens the feeling of being at one with nature, and with dramatic fireplace and ensuite bathroom, provide a peaceful enclave. Many balconies and decks throughout bring one to almost touch the trees. There are 3 main levels, with a spacious work-live space, updated kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, living room with second fireplace, family room, bonus room & two outdoor spas. "
