Architect J. Wilmer Hershey designed the quaint group of cottages on a cul-de-sac in Altadena between 1925 and 1948. Known as Norwic Village or Little Normandie, the dwellings are intended to be reminiscent of rural France. The architect also designed the Santa Barbara Courthouse and the San Clemente Master Plan.

The village was declared an Altadena Heritage Area on June 5, 2005. Please do not use this image in any media without my permission. © All rights reserved.
