According to building records, Nathan J. Leavy, a wine and liquor salesman, had the Mediterranean Revival style house built for himself and his wife Jennie in 1922.
The house is located at 1224 South Gramercy Place in the Country Club Park Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ) of Los Angeles, California.
