Architects Feil & Varge designed the Colonial Revival style house for Cyril Wigmore in 1922. Wigmore was born in San Francisco on January 31, 1876. He graduated from UCLA in 1899 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering. He was employed as an oil and mining engineer. He lived in the house with his wife Juliet. He died in Los Angeles on November 3, 1948 and was buried at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
The house is located at 1214 South Gramercy Place in the Country Club Park Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ) of Los Angeles, California.
