Beauty and Serenity in Val Fiscalina (South Tirol - Trentino AltoAdige Region - Italy)
ON THE BACKGORUND: THE DOLOMITI SUNDIAL
The "Dolomiti sundial" is the greatest natural sundial in the world: it is formed by "Cima 11" "Cima 12" and "Cima 1"
which are among the most important and highest mountains od Dolomiti group. The characteristic is that during the winter sostice their top is lit by the sunlight respectivelly at 11 and 12 a.m. and 1 p.m. .
It is a very idyllic and peaceful scenery which offers nature at its best, an unique spectacle of nature: The largest stone sundial in the world, called also "the Sesto sundial". The Val Fiscalina valley is also stunningly beautiful.
The place where I am in this photo is the end of the Val Fiscalina and after this please cars cannot go on...
