t is said that this bridge-like rock, near the town Vik in Iceland, was caused from a volcanic eruption about thousands of years ago. The aperture of that bridge was formed by marine corrosion. The whole rock, extending to the sea from the coast, presents a splendid scene. This image seems tranquil, but actually the wind was fierce. To create a better composition, I had to shoot at the edge of a cliff without fence. So I lowered my tripod and squatted to minimize the effect of wind in case of accident.
