Tanger
Tanger ( طنجة) is a city in northwestern Morocco, on the coasts of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The city is the capital of the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, as well as the Tangier-Assilah Prefecture of Morocco.

Many civilisations and cultures have influenced the history of Tangier, starting from before the 10th century BCE. Starting as a strategic Phoenician town and trading centre, Tangier has been a nexus for many cultures. In 1923, it became an international zone managed by colonial powers and became a destination for many European and American diplomats, spies, bohemians, writers and businessmen. That status came to an end with Moroccan independence, in phases between 1956 and 1960.

By the early 21st century, Tangier was undergoing rapid development and modernisation. Projects include tourism projects along the bay, a modern business district called Tangier City Centre, an airport terminal, and a football stadium. Tangier's economy is set to benefit greatly from the Tanger-Med port.

Nieuwe Ooster Cemetery 17/10/2023 15h11
This red maple tree on the cemetery near my house means a lot to me. It reminds me of the morning I came to collect the urn containing my deceased sister's ashes in October 2022. One year ago, same tree with the same colors.

Nieuwe Ooster
The Nieuwe Oosterbegraafplaats is a cemetery in Amsterdam. This is located on the Kruislaan in the Watergraafsmeer in Amsterdam East and has an area of 33 hectares. The cemetery opened on May 1, 1894. It is now called De Nieuwe Ooster, because of the construction of a crematorium in 1994, after a design by R. van Liesveld.
The New Eastern Cemetery replaced the (Old) Eastern Cemetery, built in 1866, just outside the Muiderpoort.
In 1888, the municipality of Amsterdam bought a piece of land of 16 hectares in the then independent neighboring municipality of Watergraafsmeer for a new cemetery, as there was not enough space elsewhere.
The cemetery was designed in 1892 by Leonard Anthony Springer. This landscape architect paid a lot of attention to the trees in his design.
The cemetery became a national monument complex in 2003 with a number of national monuments such as the entrance gate De Nieuwe Ooster. In 2005 the site was declared an arboretum. There are many varieties of shrubs, roses, elms, chestnuts, oaks, birches, magnolias, conifers and rhododendrons. School classes organize botanical classes in the park because of the garden plants.
The Dutch Funeral Museum Tot Zover, which opened at the end of 2007, is located on the site. In 2014, the Golden Pyramid was awarded for the multi-year restoration of the park and the buildings. At that time, the 'Kleine auditorium' in the former bar shed was also taken into use for smaller groups.

Damit nicht der Eindruck entsteht, in Arad gibt es nur Altfahrzeuge: Das Bild des örtlichen Straßenbahnbetriebes wird zunehmend von den niederflurigen Produkten des einheimischen Herstellers Astra geprägt, die laufend ausgeliefert werden. Hier der kurze Imperio Civitas mit der "Schnapszahl" 2222 auf der Strada Tribunul Dobra.

In einem teilweise entsetzlichen Zustand befinden sich einige DÜWAG-Fahrzeuge in Arad, so wie der GT6 Nr. 108, der einst aus Ludwigshafen übernommen wurde. Hier steht er in der Haltestelle Hauptbahnhof.
