The Café Fein, one of Frnakfurt's many Wasserhäuschen. These little shops were originally built for selling sparkling water and expanded into selling drinks, coffee, cigarettes and miscellaneous basic food articles (eggs, flour, sugar, bananas...) with the economic downturns of last century, becoming what you'd call a Bude in the Ruhrgebiet. Some have retained that functions, other have gentrified to some degree. One of them even became a fairly fancy restaurant, the Heimat on the Berliner Strasse.

A 2CV in Fechenheim.
A couple of years ago my OM-2 overexposed most of a roll pretty badly, I changed the batteries, but then it seemed the shutter was going only at 1/1000ths of a second in auto exposure mode. I figured I was stuck with manual mode... well, it looks like the OM-2 is one of these cameras that cleverly forces 1/1000th for the first few exposures to allow setting up a fresh roll as quick as possible. In any case, auto exposure worked just fine in a variety of circumstances with this roll of Kentmere 100. And I now have a 35mm f/2.8 found at the flea market - yes, you indeed get good stuff there from time to time :).

Some years ago Christoph shared some beautiful pictures of the Offenbach townhall that really intriged me. A few weeks ago I was in Offenbach on a week day, so I went to visit. The inside is beatiful indeed... after half an hour, a security guy asked me where my authorization was. Well, I didn't have one - I never suspected It was needed in the first place - so that was it for the photo tour.
