And yet another image from the Königstein tournament last Saturday. I don't think this man was trying to impersonate Thorin, but he he looked so uncannily like Richard Armitage in Peter Jackson's movie... Now, how on earth he managed to wear all this furry ornaments under the brutal heat with such dignity still amazes me.

Yet another one from Königstein castle festival last saturday. Unless I am very mistaken, Tarranis (mittelalterband.com) is band in question. Gallic god, futhark script and proclaimed medieval identity... did I write "fanciful"? There you got it. But certainly not lacking communicative enthusiasm. I did enjoy it quite a bit. Oh, and I sure do love Game of Thrones as well ;)
