A few weeks ago I chanced upon a "Free Syria" demonstration on the Paulusplatz. No idea who organized it, but organized it was... couple of hundred people all waving brand new flags of the same size and make suggest a certain lack of spontaneity. Lots of enthusiasm professionally kept at boiling point, with singing, dancing and flaming speeches. I took a few pictures and went away, but the bits of speeches I had gotten to hear were enough to convince me the minute Assad and ISIS are done for, these people will jump at each other throats. Sad. Very sad. As to who was behind it, and with what plan, still no idea...

A poor picture, but my last one of the Goetheturm, which burnt to the ground last night. Most likely arson, coming after the fires at the Korean pavillon an the Chinese pavillon earlier this year. Terribly sad. I loved these places, and the Goetheturm was a particularly popular tower with a fantastic view over frankfurt and the whole countryside... "Mit Dummheit kämpfen Götter selbst vergebens."

Another one from the construction site on the grounds of the Deutsche Bank building (www.gross-partner.de/de/press/architekturwettbewerb-fuer-...). I just installed Lightroom and started experimenting with it. Clearly not as pleasant to use as DxO by a long shot, but it has local adjustment...
Yashica Electro 35 GSN, Agfa APX 400 @ 400 in Rodinal 1/25 for 12 min at 20°C. Digitalized using a Revuenon 135mm f/2.8 @ f/11 and macro bellows.
