The Scoop amphitheatre and City Hall at the More London development. Tower bridge is in the background. The 30 second exposure has made the scene appear a lot more empty than it actually was!

I took this shot of Wembley Stadium a few weeks ago using a 10 stop ND filter. What I love about using neutral density filters is that the end result is always a surprise. At first I was concerned that the level of back-lighting would be too high, but the sunlight glinting off the glass panels was a great addition to the image. You can see this photo plus many others on my website, www.mbl-photography.com.

So I've decided to start off my re-vamped architectural photostream with an old favourite.
I took this photograph of Bodiam Castle in East Sussex a couple of years ago on a cold summer morning. It was an amazing scene, with the subtle pink hues of sunrise reflected in the clouds above and the early morning mist rising off the moat.
