Woulfter Mountain and other Ridges and Peaks of the Davis Mountains. A setting looking to the west-southwest while taking in views across the west Texas desert present at this road pullout along I-10. My thought on composing this image was to zoom in with the focal length and capture a view of those ridges and peaks beyond the interstate. As I wasn't able to find high ground to capture more of a sweeping image (by angling my Nikon SLR camera downward), I decided to capture what I could and then have the cloud formations in the skies above fill up the rest of the image. |
