I have been travelling of late, so little time to get out and take pictures, hence a trawl through the archives.
This is back to the days of film (I can just about remember those!) and one of my favourite cameras, the Hassleblad XPan. This is shot on Fuji Velvia and scanned on an Epson flatbed scanner. It usually results in file sizes of around 300Mb!
I was rather taken with the vertical format of a panoramic image and would usually try and find a suitable composition. It's not a format I use much now with digital.
This is taken in Tuscany, in the month of May some years ago, when the fields were green, the sky was blue and the poppies were out in force. One of my favourite places in the world.
