A bison comes running to intercept another bull that was getting too close to his lady. These guys weight about 2000 lbs (900 kg) on average, and this guy was one of the bigger ones in the herd.
I was a lot further away than it appears.
This is a recent video from close by where I took this shot, just to give you a sense of the strength of these guys, remember their weight, and that he just lifted the other bull off the ground.
