Our lake will not be full until March, but the lake and sunset were still beautiful. This was after the sun was over the hill.

I wanted to post one more of my trip out yesterday. Fun Day. The sky was getting darker due to approaching rain so I could use a long exposure.

My sister and I went photographing together today. I had a wonderful time. It was the first time I've been out in many many months after caring for my little dog for 13 months that recently passed away on Oct 31. I loved photographing something that was not in my yard. It was early enough to where I did not need a filter as it was coming a rain. I liked how some sun got through the cloud cover.

I blended several focus points using Photoshop. I hope to do focus stacking in my D850 next. It is not that easy to see or focus when there is this little light using a tripod and live view. I was by myself a long way from the house hoping the bobcats and foxes and coyotes were not yet stirring.

This is in front of our dock which is still above water. You can see where all the vegetation is floating from being cut down to prepare the lake bottom for return to full volume in March.
