Chipmunk's Highway.
The little chipmunks have a hole on both sides of my fence to pass though from side to side. So stinking cute. They run and wrestle and chase each other.

He waited for a few minutes and the chipmunk did not move so he lightly pecked him (not hard). The little chipmunk had been and continued to ignore him. Other Blue Jays buzzed the little Chipmunk and he was oblivious. Finally all the Blue Jays flew away and left him in peace.

I have too many chipmunks to count. The entire neighborhood has them. They hibernate only when it gets extremely cold here. They always come out when it is warm enough even in winter.

Bokeh is the autumn leaves (mostly on the ground now).

Another resident of my cottage garden. The chipmunks and squirrels gave the birds a race to see who could eat the most berries which are all mostly gone now. I miss the action.

It rained for days when the berries were the ripest so that is rain creating the shine of the leaves.
