One last post of my dried hydrangea. I love that the background tones were this beautiful blue. I think it was picking up the lake out my den window. I used cedar sprigs for more interest in this shot.

If you enlarge you can see the Helios swirl in some areas.

I planted my zinnia seeds late but they are blooming pretty now. It doesn't usually frost here for at least 8 more weeks.

I used the reverse end of the Helios lens for the macro effect and bokeh highlights. I have a camera adapter attached to both ends of the lens so I can use it either way..

I bought some expensive dahlias that haven't done well at all, and I bought a pack of Sam's Club Window Box Dahlias and they did great.

Used art filters on the flower and I blurred the red buds in bloom outside my kitchen window to create the bokeh/texture. I used my vintage Helios Lens to create this image. I bought this flower on March 28 and it is still blooming with new buds. It is potted.
